I can't choose where I want to begin... but I finally got to see the 3D film "Avatar". I thought it was AMAZING. Everyone judges movies differently, as in any situation, opinions will always differ. Because in fact they ARE opinions. Myself, I love movies that show triumph and have moral meaning behind them. That's what I got from this film. Although it was sort of predictable, (like many films) I'm just a practical person and predict most things anyways. I kind of knew things were going to happen, but the movie surprised me the WAY they happened. Overall, if I had to rate, it was definitely five stars, even though I'm no movie critic.

Neytiri (Nuh-tear-ree) is played by the beautiful actress Zoë Saldaña. You may remember her from the movie "Drumline" as the girl Nick Cannon's character pursued. What I thought that was so amazing is that about twenty minutes into the movie, I was stuck on trying to figure out who was playing Neytiri. The film is animated but still looks real in a sense. All people starring in the film still had to act as the characters but were animated and they surprisingly can be made out if you look at the characters they play very closely. The structure in Neytiri's mouth and jawline really stood out to me. I kept saying to myself "I know who that is". Surprisingly, I'd pictured Zoë in my head but couldn't figure out what movie she'd played in. I waited all the way until credits ran and felt so cool when I found out I was right! [laugh out loud].

The movie just captivated me in so many ways. The "Na'Vi" people in the Omaticaya tribe were just so genuine. The way Neytiri loved Jake Sully (Sam Worthington's character) left me speechless. I really don't want to give away the film for those who haven't gotten the chance to see it. However, I wanted to share with you guys how deeply it touched me.

I see a lot of me inside the character Neytiri because she is very tough and strong. Both physically and mentally. Even though she is tough, she has no shame in showing you if she is upset or embarrassed. I loved the way she looked at people when she spoke. Like, you could feel emotion in her eyes. If she was mad, you were mad. When she was feeling excitement, then you were excited. Very beautiful character, inside and out.

So, for those of who haven't figured it out yet, I do model. This film inspired me to do head shots as Neytiri. I have been wanting to have something different in my portfolio that actually spelled out "VERSATILE" and I think this is it. Hopefully, I will find the right people to collab with and we can get this done. I'm done now guys. Peace and Love.
Before I forget, here is a picture of Zoë Saldaña if you are too lazy to go and google one.
