Forever K Michael Collection is new brand of designer eyewear named after me ( my nickname K. Michael). It’s a brand inspired by the trials and tribulations of anyone aspiring to achieve a dream. I've ALWAYS had a passion for shades and wanted to create a product that signified my image in the music industry (Shout out to X Records). So in June of 2009, I began educating myself on the process of design, I shopped for some distributors, landed a licensing agreement, signed some celebrities to the first campaign, and the rest is history baby!
(Laughs) Actually it's a lot more intricate than that, but that’s pretty much the gist of it.
My signature look - or accessory has always been shades- from a very, very young age. As a kid I would top my outfit off with shades, and even if the other kids had nicer clothes than me, when I put my shades on I felt like the coolest cat in the school. Solie'l, I felt unstoppable...capable of achieving anything...and I still do.
I just have a real passion for shades -the look, design, hardware- and I want to see people look good and experience a sense of confidence in themselves when they wear my brand.
This is truly my way of giving back.
(Smiles) Hmmm...I have visions of calm days, but I really haven't seen one. Before all of this I used to love to sit in front of the fireplace on cold rainy days and just think. I also like watching the sunset, blue oceans and swaying palm trees. Beautiful, but simple things.
Watching nature, God's creations and beautiful wonders of this world gives me peace and calm days.

The first statement alone was enough for me! He definitely is very passionate about what he does which comes across in his swagga and translates into a quality product...i love the shades he's wearing....good job with this interview
