Recently, I had the honor of participating as a model in The Diversity Pinup Project. The concept and project was developed by Ellie Retrophilia who is a "Pinup Angel" as well as a makeup artist and model. The photo above was captured by Melissa Duck-Carr, who is just one of the many photographers included in the ongoing project.
The Diversity Pinup Project was created to embrace the influence that women of color have had on history throughout time. It's also an opportunity for models involved in the project to update and build their portfolios with beautiful, tasteful and timeless photographs. Kudos to Ellie for the thought of such a magnificent idea.
