So, today inspired me to write! Something that I have been wanting to do for months now. I have no valid reason as to why I haven't. Maybe it's all of the other things I have going on right now (i.e - school, modeling, Speak Up Richmond). Don't get me wrong. I love to write. So here is something inspired by a walk home today in the COLD and melting snow. It was the first time I looked up and saw the moon in the daytime hiding in the what seemed like behind the sun and clouds. It was beautiful. Now, I'm not the best and this IS free write, but this is from the heart. So enjoy. (=
I was given unremarkable strength today
On a lonely walk home
My sight wondered up to the dwelling place of all angels
Of course..
Any blind man would say he see's the sky
I deem angels
Smiling...
Beautiful, enchanting smiles on me
Immediately, all earthly feelings diminished
Worldly worries gone
Almost like I'd watched my own
Lifeless body being carried away in a black box
Long-lost, toned cousins
The carriers
Limbs on pause, mind in a marathon
Had I tried to battle this beautiful sight
And what I was seeing...
The angels would have won
.

.
.
.
.
.
.
.
They won.
I continue glancing upward
And whisper to myself
"I could do this"
Simultaneously, the white figured
silhouettes left me
The long and narrow black box-
Gone.
I live today to tell you
A part of my soul left with those angels
The moon
Lead me home today.
Clouds
Lead me home today.
Yes, sunlight invaded my body
While
Angels lead me home today.
